Guide to Photo Ops

ABOUT THE PHOTO OP SCHEDULE:

Your ticket title will include the day of your photo op and the session. When viewing the photo op schedule (on the FanX Mobile App or the FanX Website), you will see the celebrity's session times listed daily for easy reference. Please arrive at the time set for the day and session listed in your ticket title.

Photo Ops will be in order according to your purchased ticket type When it is time for your photo opportunity, please enter according to the ticket type you purchased.

WHAT IS A PHOTO OP?

It is a purchased professional photo taken with an individual star or a group of actors from your favorite TV show or movie. Each Photo Op includes a glossy 8″ x 10″ print.

***NEW FOR 2026: Epic will not be including the digital copy for free this year. You will be able to purchase it with a credit card at the event at the Epic Photo Op booth.

Guide to Photo Ops:

How many fans can be accommodated in a single photo op? Four (4) total fans can be in one photo op. A maximum of 8 people or two (2) purchased photo ops can be accommodated for a photo op, due to space reasons. Children under one are not counted in your total.

When should I arrive for my photo op? No more than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Photo op queue lines do not open before then. This space is queue-dependent. If the queuing area is full, it may delay opening further lines until space becomes available.

Can I bring props to the photo op? Some guests will allow this, while others will not. You will be informed before entering the booth if a guest does not allow props to be used.

Would you like me to redeem my ticket before getting in the queue? No, your QR code will be scanned while in line for your photo op.

Can I buy photo ops on-site? Yes, but please note that the sales line is for credit card purchases only. You can buy ops using your mobile device, but please check the time before making an online purchase.

Can I use my photo op voucher at the event? Photo op vouchers are for online use only; they cannot be used at the sales desk. Here is how to do so: How to use Photo Op Voucher. You will be emailed a new QR code for your newly purchased photo op.

Can I record my photo op or get an autograph in the Photo op Area? No, the photo op booth does not allow personal photos or videos. However, you can purchase autographs in Celebrity Row.

What can I do to prevent my glasses from glaring? You can remove them or tilt your head slightly downward to reduce or eliminate glare from the lights. Retakes will not be issued for glasses glare.

I picked up my photo in the print pickup area, but blinked. What do I do? The photographer will try to capture moments like closed eyes before you leave the photo booth. If your eyes are closed, please let us know immediately when you pick up your print. That is the only time we can offer a re-take.

I have two ops or an op and an autograph close to the same time; what do I do? Some talent will have long lines, while others will have short lines. The celebrity leaves the booth once the last person has their photo taken. If you choose photo ops simultaneously or close together, please know there are no refunds for missed photo ops. Once the schedule has been released, you can swap it for another day or session if you have a conflict.

What do I do with my belongings before my photo op? There are tables conveniently located near the booth's entrance. Please place your items on these tables and collect them when you leave the photo op. Any items you bring in the photo op booth must be in your hands, as putting them on the floor is a trip hazard.

Can I chat with the guest while getting my photo op? Photo ops are quick and should not be considered a meet-and-greet.

Now that my Photo Op is over, What do I Do? Please remember to take your photo. The link for your digital print will be at the bottom of your photo. You can purchase a copy immediately. You can pick up any extra prints you ordered at the Epic Reprint station. If you want additional prints, you may also purchase those before you leave.

QUICK TIPS FOR YOUR PHOTO OP

**On the day of your photo op session, you need a valid admission to the FanX Comic Convention. Second, you can purchase a Photo Op on our website or mobile device before or during the event at the Epic Photo Ops sales desk (credit card sales only).

Once your photo has been taken, please leave the booth. Your items will be in a bin waiting for you. Remember to pick up your photo. The digital download link will be at the bottom of your image.

Pro Tip: Purchase photo ops on your mobile device while at the event to avoid extra lines, or better yet, save time and purchase online before the event begins!

Please ensure you have those QR codes ready (printed or on your mobile device) when you arrive for the day/session of the photo op you purchased.
