Where can I park at the convention and how much does it cost?

Parking can be found at varying price rates in several places around the convention center. Click here to see a map of parking downtown and for more information about parking.

Parking at the Salt Palace:

There is an underground parking garage. It is located at 50 South 300 West. Bicycle racks can also be found in various places around the Salt Palace if you choose to ride your bike. These are paid parking lots.

The Salt Palace does offer underground parking at $12-$20 per entry. They typically open at 6:30 AM (no overnight parking). More information is here.

Hotels near the Salt Palace

You can access parking on West Temple and then walk to the Salt Palace.

Parking at The Gateway

The Gateway is 400 W 100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84101.  There are a couple of parking garages at the mall.  There are Trax stops that will take you to the Salt Palace.  The Gateway parking garages are located at-

Frontrunner and Trax:

Don’t want to drive downtown? You can take Frontrunner from many stations both north and south of downtown. Ride the train to “Salt Lake Central Station” then transfer to Trax. Once on Trax at the “Temple Square” stop, which is right in front of Abravanel Hall. The convention center is just half a block south of that stop. Then to get back to FrontRunner, get on a blue line Trax (as at this point the green line goes through too), and make sure its destination is Central Station, not Sandy.

You may also park in a Frontrunner or Trax station for free.
